Yeah, just like what Junni said, this post is meant to enlighten those faithful followers of this blog.

I'm currently in NTU, Singapore, living in a hostel (Duh!). NTU is pretty big, I shall say, but I have not been to other campus before so I can't really make a comparison here. My room is rather big compared to rooms in other halls of residence. And tell you what, NTU is all about hill slopes and staircase so you can imagine walking up the hill slopes and flights of staircases. You'll really get muscles in your legs.

The first week here was so so. I was basically ~~running~~ walking around and slacking with my other 3 friends, who came to NTU with me. All classmates. We signed up for this orientation camp by the Malaysian and it's called MSA FOC 2011. MSA stands for Malaysia and FOC stands for Freshmen Orientation Camp, not Free of Charge. Because we need to know our OG (orientation group) members before the camp, so we had quite some activities together - OG Dinner, banner painting etc. It's fun, seriously. Probably because the GLs (Group Leader) are really good at creating the right atmosphere. And yea, the seniors taught us cheers and during the process of learning, I felt I was in kindergarten, learning how to sing.

FOC lasted for 5 days and in these 5 days, the earliest time I sleep was 2am. In spite of the lack of sleep, this camp makes us Malaysians, or maybe it's just me, feel very homely. Unlike other camps, in which seniors torture freshies, the seniors were really indescribably caring. They have a welfare committee in each group and they'll always be asking us "Who want to refill water?" and all we need to do was to shove them our water bottles. Cool, isn't it? Before I forget, MSA is actually a voluntary club. The organisers and the committee gets nothing in return...maybe some sense of satisfaction.

And we actually have a TWO photographers in our group so pictures were taken throughout the camp! However fun this camp is, there's this part of the camp which made us girls (maybe it's just me again) really uncomfortable because they had this thing called SP - Secret Partner. They pair up girls and guys from the sister group. For this SP thing, they had games and there were physical contacts (mostly holding hands) and the girls from my group was 'married off' to the other group and during the whole thing, we were all desperate to get back to our own OG. And they had this SP Walk. Sounds romantic, I know. But this walk scared the s*** out of me because it was a walk along the very big school building with your SP and another pair. The seniors made the school like a haunted place and there were 'ghosts' lurking around to scare you. The seniors really spent a lot of time preparing this and the props were amazingly good. Even now, when I'm walking alone in school, I'll feel a little bit scared. Thanks to a senior of mine who always tell us, especially ME, ghost stories. ==

The last day of the camp was the best day of all. We had this AmaSing Jalan-Jalan around Singapore. It was public holiday on that day - Singapore National Day. For the whole day, we went to Dhoby Ghaut, Orchard and that's where we went on a few really long escalators. We called it stairways to heaven. Of course, there were task that we had to complete. In Orchard, we have given out free hugs at the public. We sang in the public and etc. We took pictures with the wall in MRT station and we went to Universal Studio!!! We went quite close to Marina Bay before we took MRT to Vivo City. Sad to say, it wasn't cloudy on that day so I'm now tanned. == This is all about the daytime only. Night. We had sketches and all ended at around 3 am though the camp was scheduled to end at midnight. After the ending of the camp, our OG had this sharing session in which we shared our thoughts about the camp. Emo, I know but it's good to know what other people think about the camp and the group. I got booed by the seniors when I told them frankly that I used to doubt them because they were just way too nice and I thought they might be having some evil plans to torture us during the camp.

That's all about the camp. School started last week. I still do get lost in the school buildings. I'm the only Malaysian in my tutorial class. Pathetic. The food here, undoubtedly, sucks if I compare them to those in Ipoh. We still have OG meet up and activities rather frequently because the OG is similar to my family in SG. Libraries in here are awesome - they have very good facilities and you'll always need a sweater. The sun is a blessing to you after you stay in the library for hours. Toilets are, obviously, clean and the switches are controlled by motion sensor.

For now, the only problem I have is to get a position in a committee, WITH ENOUGH POINTS, to secure me a place to stay in next year or else I might end up squatting in other people's room (which I know I will because most Malaysian seniors are/were experiencing it). Sigh.

So that's all from me for now. Will tell you all more when you all ask because I can't think of what to tell anymore. Adios.

Preparing for an oral presentation that is worth 20% so I can't afford to screw it up because my end of the year essay which is worth 30% will be hard to score in so hopefully I won't mumble jumble on Tues. Drama exam coming up to and we are YET to think of a plot. Bleh. It's supposed to be this dark drama like V for Vendetta, Brave New World kinda vibe. Hope we can pull it off.

Okay, pretty long update from me. Find it fun just spamming the class blog with boring details of my life. If you got this far I congratulate you, after all, all of us are looking for boring stuff to read sometimes.

How's everyone doing??!! Well, since Jessica and Sok Wai mentioned the blog is dying, so I thought might as well I post something while watching Boys Over Flowers :)) HEHEH.

Anyways, Chin and Ee Xin, REMEMBER TO LET US KNOW WHERE ARE YOU GOING AFTER GETTING YOUR OFFER LETTER!! I was telling Ee Xin to aim for Princeton, where my Economics tutor came from!!! HAHAHAH. So cool right!! And he worked at Wallstreet and he's going back to Wallstreet after this Semester!! (Okay, why am I talking about my Economics tutor??!!)

And looks like F6 is being pretty good for most of you, HAHAH. except your Maths teacher, I heard. LOL. And 25 MUET essays for holidays??!?!?!!!!!?!?!?!?!?!?

So basically the whole waiting-for-results process is officially over...

and I guess there are mixed emotions in school on Thursday. From what I gathered so far, most people are quite happy with their results and it's really nice to see smiles on their faces. errrmm...

Frankly, it's quite hard to go without hurting some people's feelings/ sounding insensitive cos spm results is really quite a 'touchy' subject...

Anyway, I've been getting this question from about everyone I met : WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO NEXT? Where are you going to study? What are you going to study? blah blah... My answer : The answer to those questions depends on one another.

So there'll probably more waiting and waiting (on my part) before finally being able to announce 'where am I going to study' and 'what am I going to study'. But I know of people who're going off pretty soon, and it's going to be another round of goodbyes. =(

We're all going off to different schools, studying different stuffs... I really can't help but wonder what awaits us in the future. Will we really achieve our dreams and be happy with the path we chose? Will we still remember each other and have class reunions like some people do? How different will we be then, how much will we have changed? hmm, I guess we should just take one step at a time.

Anyway, my question to you guys is: WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO NEXT?

SPM results out second week of next month

KUALA LUMPUR: Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) results will be released in the second week of next month.

“Students can obtain the results from their schools towards the end of the second week,” said Education director-general Datuk Alimuddin Mohd Dom.

The results have been released around this time for the past few years.

A total of 442,936 students sat for the examination last year.

PETALING JAYA: Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) school-leavers who have applied for the Matriculation Programme for 2009/2010 can check the status of their applications via the Education Ministry’s website at http://www.moe.gov.my from Feb 9 to 20.

Applicants who applied by filling in the optical mark reader (OMR) form or through the Internet can also amend and check their particulars and the stream of studies by logging on to the same website.

Students are required to key in their identity card number or Examination Board Number and their SPM index number.

They can also call the Matriculation Division’s helpline at 03-8884 4100 between 8.30am and 4pm on weekdays.

suggested activities- when we reach penang, we'll leave our luggages at the apartment before going queensbay mall at lunchtime and meet our jamie jie there. i suppose we'll hangout at the mall for a while. and oh yea, a local band-R.E.Y will be there at 3 pm for promo tour. anyway, nobody cares. ermm.. we can leave at 4pm and then we'll go to the beach. i predict we'll reach there around 5pm.that's evening.not so sunny so, it's quite suitable for us to stroll along the seaside.hopefully it will be low tide so that we can go down to the beach. i am wondering should i bring a kite there. or a volleyball. after bath, we'll walk around gurney drive and eat,eat,eat..the next day, do wake up early if you wanna dip in the pool. i want lor. i hope someone is kind enough to teman me. hehe..:D..then , later after that, we can go gurney plaza..or maybe if u wanna go botanical garden. i am not sure whether it is located nearby. if it is, we can walk there. but, i know admission is free. anyway,we'll have to check out latest at 3pm because we'll need to reach the bus station as early as 4pm to buy the ticket back to ipoh. so, do bring enough money.prepare rm 20 for that. so yea, that's the suggestion . any comment? let's discuss maybe tonight or tomorrow.i'll be onlining till tomorrow evening and to be continued at night.(might be going jj at late evening, that's why..hehe..)

transportation- i suppose eexin's uncle will drive us to apartment. then maybe we'll take a bus to queensbay mall and back to apartment.(if rapid penang, the bus fare is rm 3 at most while the shuttle bus is free - i am not really sure about that btw) in gurney, i suggest to walk. it's free and does not trouble eexin's family .

what to bring?- 1)MONEY-make sure u pay me first before taking the bus ticket. those money will be my expenses for the travel.prepare rm18 for that. the ticket is rm 17.60 actually. so i'll return u guys 40 cents each. and and and , dont forget to pay rm 25 to eexin. 2)sunblock- i guess we'll walk a lot 3) camera 4)adequate clothes 5)Bath Accessory- towel,brush,toothpaste,shampoo etc 6)swinsuit 7) map? 8) medicine?

Um.. if you have some free time, please help me. I'm on the verge of discovering important hints of what should have been behind SPM's damn objective answer scheme.

First of all I need the correct answers for math paper 1. I can't find them anywhere on net; probably because people have been taking modern math as the least of their worries. So I resort to this method commonly known as 'comparing answers' in order to get what I need.

These are my answers for math paper 1:

1. C 11. B 21. B 31. A
2. B 12. A 22. A 32. D
3. C 13. D 23. D 33. A
4. C 14. B 24. B 34. D
5. B 15. A 25. A 35. D
6. A 16. B 26. D 36. C
7. D 17. B 27. B 37. C

I'm sure you all are familiar with this method... same answer = most likely correct, different answers = one is 100% wrong. Tell me if you have different answers. I'll relook at the questions.

And the rational reason for wasting your time is - I speculate that the answer statistics for SPM objective papers are A: 10, B: 10, C: 10 and D: 10 (10 As, 10 Bs, 10 Cs, 10 Ds as answers for 40 questions). For Sejarah, the statistic is precisely 10 each, but I've got A: 10, B: 11, C: 9 and D: 10 for my mod math's stats. One question wrong maybe? That's what I thought.

Please please please help out! This time I ask for nothing but everyone's warm-hearted assistance. All I hope is for everyone to get full As. Please don't ignore me and make an idiot like me feel like an idiot. I just want to continue this pretence--which I'm oh so smart--happily until I die. Also maybe this applies to our science objective papers as well. Think of how many people we could help... ourselves later and SPM 2009 candidates next year. Let's do a good deed and secure our reservations in heaven XD

Lately I'm so free that it makes your ol' grandpa and grandma feel busy. And because I like ~~to slack from responsibilities~~ to surf the internet for ~~trash~~ interesting stuff, I shall spam you:

Fast IQ testing:

There're only 20 questions, it takes 10-15 minutes to 'gau tiam'. And as you can see, I've 150 IQ, which is by the way considered 'exceptionally gifted' according the site's score guide. Surprised? I was kinda disappointed with the results though. 'Cause when I was younger I took one kiddy kiddy for-kids-only IQ test and scored 160. I was so happy back then. Oh well mature brain cells don't divide, only die. =,=

It was estimated that Mr. no-comb-messy-hair Einstein got 161, Mozart who succeeded in composing scores htat made experimental mice smarter than me (I do get lost in a maze) got 165, Mr. GaGa (Galileo Galilei) got 185 and Mr. Pascal who I hate now because of one person scored 195. There're more geniuses listed in that site. Check it out yourselves if interested. Please tell me if you got a higher score. I'll er.. respect you more a little and stop being bitchy like I always did and use less rebukes when communicating with you.

Scenario : a bunch of “nothing-betta-to-do” was at the seaside. The wind was blowing towards them. (plz imagine the wind howling LOL)They were obviously enjoying themselves, having a WHALE of a time. Perhaps.. perhaps they were waiting for their turn for the audition of the GB-senior-next-top-model.. Evryone of them was busy with their own agenda. Kindly read on to know wat they are doing.

Model 01: (praying) may the lord bless all of them. I duno wat they’re doing. No eye see.

Model 02: (happily dreaming) the wind’s so cooling. But I’m feeling itchy all over. Erm zhihui, wud u mind? My hands are occupied..

Model 03: sure, no prob. Err.. here izit? I can’t see, u noe. Some sand got into my eyes. Eh, r u on my left or on my right? (stretches out two hands)

Model 04: come join us. (hand gestures, smiles her polite n caring smile) Don’t shy shy. Nothing geh. We wont eat u wan..

Model 05: ah, iz about time.. nah I din bluff u. u see, the wind’s really blowing. Now, the next wind will be.... (busy counting)

Model 06: I dun get it. How she count ar? Gt formula isit. U ar, dun so secretive lar. How u count? I headache aledy. (note the hand at the forehead..)

Model 07 : haha u no need to care about her geh lar. She oso siao geh (points at jessica). Let her count herself lar. The wind. Ahhhh.. so cooling. Can u smell my new shampoo? (hand at the hair)

Model 08 : hahahahaha (caught in the mid of trying to cover her evil laugh) go on ppl. Act natural. [Monolog: bet u all duno my sis is taking the pic, wakakakakakaka]

Model 06’s bottle : (in squeaky non-human voice, almost in tears) how come all of u are so tall? Iz not fair!!!! I wana be tall too… [cries loudly now]..

Lol dats all lar.. crazy eh.. haha sokwai’s blog entry inspired me to type this.. so u all can thank or scold her. The choice is yours.. I refuse to take any blame or responsibility.. kekekekeke =PPP haha I’m enjoying every minute of it!!! WAKAKAKAKAKAKAKA!! =P

i actually have smtg to say about the whole process of doing the page...well, it took me quite long to find the right pics the first time, people sending me unsuitable pics, some others no pics at all, some appear too many times...but yeaa...i tried my BEST, put in a lot of effort...and it wasn't easy...i don't even have time to finish my hw, okay?? i tried to please everyone, but in the end, there will be people who don't like it...so yeah, it's still OUR class page...and that's what i was trying to portray, you know...ahh...whatever...bleaahhh

Veggie tales!

I'm sure many of you have not heard abt veggie tales eh.. Basically it's a kiddy show which tells bible lessons through vegetables as characters! hence the name veggie tales. Most of my friends know the existence of this delightful show cz well, i like to annoy them with my endless singing of the veggie tales song..haha. Glenna esp used to be entertained by the water buffalo song in form 2 and 3. Now mayjet was introduced to veggie tales yesterday..so the veggie tale movement is taking place! Yay!

Well, they don't only have bible lessons la...in between there are usually silly songs by larry, who by the way is a cucumber. So..there's this song called we are the pirates who don't do anything by relient K..extremely funny and cute! Watch.

well in the veggie tales the song was like this la (but u have to admit the lego figurines are cool! Sorry..lego fan here)

So enjoy! If you search youtube, there are a lot of veggie tales vids..so if u have the time..go through them, you won't be disappointed!
